Shahrukh Jatoi, the main accused in the murder of Shahzeb Khan was, identified by an eyewitness during an identification parade in the Shahzeb Khan murder case on Saturday. Shahrukh Jatoi was presented before the Judicial Magistrate Waqar Ahmed Soomro, for identification by witnesses. The police had brought Shahrukh to an anti-terrorism court where two eyewitnesses were present. The second eyewitness is due to give his testimony to the court.
The lawyer of accused Shahrukh Jatoi, objected the proceeding saying that picture of his client was so common on social media and internet that it was unfair to identify him as real murderer of Khan and the testimony of the witness is not important. The court recorded his statements. Three other suspects of the case, who were earlier arrested, have already been identified by three witnesses.
Shahrukh Jatoi allegedly murdered Shahzeb Khan in cold blood, on December 25th last year over a disagreement, after which Jatoi had gone into hiding abroad and has only recently been extradited back to Pakistan. The police had brought Shahrukh to an anti-terrorism court where two eyewitnesses were present. The second eyewitness is due to give his testimony to the court.
