A blast in a house in Mingora city of Swat on Tuesday killed a woman and injured six others.
According to a report, the blast occurred in a house of Mohammad Zahir on early morning. Resultantly a woman named Wara Bibi, who was a guest of Zahir and offering pray at the time of the blast, died on spot while six others including four women and two children injured.
The injured have been shifted to Saidu Sharif.
Afzal Afridi, the district police officer, said that apparently the blast occurred due to leakage of gas, however, investigation were being carried out.
