Shahid Afridi Adamant to Not to Retire

Contrary to what self-respect would have dictated, Shahid Khan Afridi is bent on playing cricket for Pakistan in the future. For 200th time he announced retirement just before the T20 World Cup. After debacle in India, it was thought that he would go by himself with whatever dignity he has left with but it seems not to. Shahid Afridi has been a curse for Pakistan Cricket for a long time now. There has been no upcoming talent coming up in the team because Afridi always has kept a stronghold on the team and he always picks the players of his choice. The players like Ahmad Shahzad who will always kowtow to him. This has dried up the team and you can very well see where it stands now. Pakistan has now batsman of any worth. We keep rotating among the same idiots who doesn’t know how to handle the wood. We only have one world class bowler Muhammad Amir, who has returned to team tainted and will take sometime to get in groove. PCB shouldn’t care what Afridi decides. They should simply not pick him. PCB should be revamped. New talent should be brought in after extensive talent hunt throughout the country. Don’t bring back relics of past like Sami and rest.
