Many videos are available online now as the party who raised this issue is presumably now circulating the videos. Kasur scandal videos leaked is equal the actual tragedy because it will be damning for the families involved as they will be shamed in the society now. There is no denying the fact that whatever the reasons behind coming of this issue to the fore, it’s a gory and condemnable act and the culprits must be punished publicly and maximum punishments should be rendered and these animals should be made an example.
This is high time that parents and teachers take their responsibilities too seriously and must not just close their eyes. This tragedy is an opportunity for our society to admit and recognize this ill prevalent in our society and must work together to talk about it and raise awareness. Government should launch a media campaign and should also include safety measures in the syllabus. Government should also allocate funds and may be create a new ministry to tackle with this issue. Pakistani media should also not indulge in rating and blame game and they should be suggesting the measures to avoid this in future. Opposition political parties and the government benches must avoid politics on this sensitive issue and work together for tougher legislation and courts should also work to have a speedy trial and exemplary punishments.
