PTI has lot on stake as all the political pundits and the nation all over the country set their eyes on the KPK Baldiyati Election 2015 Result. It will determine where the PTI is standing right now in that province after ruling it for two long years. JUI-F, ANP, PPP, Jamat e Islami and Sherpao’s party are trying their best to perform as much as possible during these local bodies elections after they lost badly in the general elections by the hands of tsunami of Imran Khan. ANP and PPP literally got routed from the province and JI only survived after joining hands with the PTI and by becoming coalition partner in the government.

 

 

Performance of PTI government is not that exemplary as it was expected. There are improvements in the Police sector but all the other sectors are lagging behind and things have gotten worst in some including health and the education. Law and order is as dismal as it was before. Corruption index is the same whereas the bureaucracy stays the same. One of the reason why there is some disappointment among the KPK voters is the relying of Imran Khan on the same old faces like Pervaiz Khattak, Azam Swati and Ayub family. Tycoons like Shaharm Tarakai control the contracts and development. Nepotism is rampant. You cannot get anything done without a reference. But still KPK voters might want to give PTI another chance. With improved security situation due to the Operation Zarb e Azab; this time PPP and ANP are also campaigning with relative freedom and so the elections tomorrow will be something to watch out.
