I think both Chaudhry Nisar and Pervaiz Khattak are speaking their share of little bit of truth. Pervaiz Khattak never wants to resign from the KPK assembly and Nisar doesn’t like various things in PML-N perhaps including its head Nawaz Sharif and various other people. Not just Nisar, but also various other insiders from PTI have confirmed that almost all of the ministers and members of KPK assembly headed by CM Pervaiz Khattak have told categorically to Imran Khan that they wouldn’t be resigning from the assembly no matter what. Initially at the start of his Azadi March, Imran was adamantly asking Khattak and his ministers to resign, and at that time Khattak covertly struck a deal with the JUI-F and PML-N to bring a no-confidence motion against him which blocks the way of resignations. It was done and Imran could do nothing but to fume. So Nisar seems right there that Khattak asked for PML-N support for it and it was in fact rendered by them.
When it comes to the allegations of Khattak that Nisar dislikes his leadership and wanted PTI to keep their sit-in going on doesn’t seem wholly true but there is something to it. Chaudhry Nisar is a egoist and he wants to dictate even his own leadership. Due to Nisar, PML-N lost stalwarts like Javed Hashmi. Due to Nisar, there are fissures in PML-N as Nisar is at one side, whereas all the other salient leaders of PML-N like Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Khawaja Saad, Pervaiz Rashid are on the other side. It was Chaudhry Nisar who compelled Nawaz Sharif to appoint Pervaiz Musharraf as army chief, and it was Nisar who always wanted Musharraf free. Nisar is an old friend of Imran and during PTI sit-in there were many rumors about Nisar being working as mole of PTI within PML-N. Nisar is not Mr. Clean we all know, but the problem is that Khattak is also not a trustworthy and credible person.
