Theatre actress Nida Chaudhry has been warned by Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday to file Rs 73.68 lac tax by January 8, 2017 or face legal action after an undeclared bank account to her name carrying at least Rs 20 million was revealed. Chaudhry, who is a prominent theatre name had allegedly not declared one of her bank accounts. The revenue board has directed Chaudhry to pay the due taxes and in case of evasion, legal action would be taken against her. The actress was served a show-cause notice earlier last year for allegedly concealing her assets in tax returns.
