Recipe for Chicken Tikka Pulao

Ingredients

  • Chicken 500g
  • Rice 600g
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red Chili Powder 2 tbsp
  • Red Chili Crushed 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste 3 tbsp
  • Yogurt half cup
  • Onion 1 piece
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Green Chili 2 pieces
  • Whole Hot Spices 5 g
  • Tomato 4 pieces
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Green Coriander, Ginger, Green Chili for Garnish
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Chicken Stock half liter

Cooking Directions

In a pot, add and marinate chicken, salt, red chili powder, red chili crushed, turmeric, lemon juice, ginger & garlic paste, yogurt, cooking oil 2 tbsp and keep in the refrigerator for an hour.

Now grill it on a grill pan.

In a cooking pot, add cooking oil, onion, cumin, green chili, whole hot spices and fry it until light brown.

Afterward, add ginger & garlic paste and fry until light brown.

Now add tomato, yogurt, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, grilled chicken, garnish (green coriander, ginger, green chili) and cook it for 5-7 minutes.

After that add chicken stock and boil it.

After boiling, add rice and cook it until the water remains in small quantity.

Now put aluminium foil with ember, butter and steam it for 12-15 minutes.
