At the official launch of the poster, actor Shaan Shahid expressed his thoughts regarding the project. “We are expecting a release next year. We want the new Indian government to start thinking about cultural policies as this film will be the first collaboration between India and Pakistan,” said Shaan.

He further requested the Indian cultural ministry to officially establish Arth 2 as the first Indo-Pak venture, allow its release in India and make it a cultural landmark for peace. “It is high time we start giving love, care and respect to each other’s work by owning it,” he added. The music and promo launch of the film will be held in August, 2014, in Pakistan. The film is starring, Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed as Kalbhoshan, Humaima Malick and Uzma Hasan. It is expected to release in 2015.
