Highly elated to wear his shiny dream shirt, Mr. Datta Phuge who inherited a fair amount of gold and wants to leave behind a sufficient amount for the next-generation, spent a whopping $235,000 on this custom-made shirt as an investment which will keep appreciating. Crafted out of 3.5kg of 22-carat solid gold, this bling shirt created by Pune-based Ranka Jewelers boasts of 14,000 gold flowerings that have been interwoven with 100,000 spangles sewn into a base of finest white velvet, along with 6 Swarovski Crystal buttons. Notably, 15 goldsmiths labored over 15 days at the rate of 18-hours a day to create this opulent shirt with an armor-like appearance. Like no likes.
