Meri saari zindagi ko be’samar iss ne kiya
Umar meri thi magar,isko basar iss ne kiya
Main bohut kamzor tha iss mulq main hijrat kay baad
Per mujhe iss mulq mein kamzor’tar iss ne kiya
Rehbar mera bana gumraah karne kay liye
Mujhko seedhey raste se darbadar iss ne kiya
Shehar mein woh moatbir meri gawahi se huwa
Phir mujhe iss shehar main na’moatbir iss ne kiya
Shehar ko barbaad kar kay rakh diya iss ne ‘Munir’
Shehar per yeh zulm mere naam per iss ne kiya
