Mujh ko is drd ki ab koi dawa mat dena
Yun na ho k log mohabbat hi se toba kr lein
Is tarah jurm-e- mohabbat ki saza mat dena

Yeh zaruri to nahi k suraj Sawa neze per aa jaye

Badal jaye jub koi to qayamat ho hi jati hai

Talluk jin sy ho Gila un per aya hi krta hai

Agar wo shakhs ab mera nahi hai to gham nahi,

Koi zaroori nahi kisi ko main yaad aoon,
Koi mujhe yaad aa raha hai yahi bohat hai

Agarche mere khilaaf os ne kaha hai lekin,
Ye faisla os ne khud kiya hai yahi bohat hai

Main apne hisse ka hans loon meri kahan ye qismat,
Bus apne hisse ka ro raha hon yahi bahat hai…
