Aisi lagi udas sar-e-sham ZINDAGI,

Jaise kisi ki aankh ka ilzam ZINDAGI,

Apne jahan mein dekha tere baad kuch nhi,

Hum ne laga di aaj tere naam ZINDAGI,

Ab doston k haath mere haath mein nahi,

Girne laga hoon aaj,mujhe tham ZINDAGI.
