The team of Pakistan’s premier magazine – Energy Update has scheduled the 3rd Int'l Summit on Wind Energy in Pakistan, theme " Explore the Power of Wind : Scalable I Affordable I Sustainable", on October 11, 3, 2017 at Karachi Marriott Hotel with the support of Sindh Energy Dept (Govt of Sindh) and Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB).
Objectives of Conference:
1. Capex cost of renewables has dropped potentially, hence due space and attention should be given to renewables “fuel free” projects development.
2. RE policy consistent and sustainable implementation has to be adopted to ensure the investors’ confidence and developmental of sector at fast track.
3. The bidding decision has to be taken up to CCI level and set aside
4. Existing projects which have already got the upfront tariff should be allowed for development as per existing RE policy and grid evacuation to be allowed which will improve the plant factor to 45-50%
We are expecting around 250 participants from various local/ int’l wind energy companies, EPC Contractors, Investors, high officials from government Dept., including Chairmen, CEO’s, Energy Experts, Research, individuals from the relevant industry, Media and Academia in the region.
