Intro / About
The Little Art proudly announces the tour of its International Children's Film Festival to four cities across Pakistan under the name of FilmSaar.
The Lahore International Children’s Film Festival is an annual event to showcase the best of local and international films by, for and about children in Pakistan. The festival has proven to be a success since its inception, and growing as a leading children’s film festival in Pakistan.
The Festival aims to promote arts education and media literacy among children and young people. It showcases entertaining and educational local and international films, to expose children to world cultures and open up their minds towards tolerance and new ideas.
This year, The Little Art is also organizing the festival in another 5 major cities of Pakistan i.e. Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Karachi.
Schedule
The Festival is starting from 17th September to 22nd September 2012 in Lahore. 86 short films from around the world – animation, live action, documentary and experimental works.
The Festival will be organized in 6 cities across Pakistan, including Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad.
