DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Having extensive knowledge and Experience in System and Networking Technologies
Ability to perform multiple, technical, highly complex tasks with need to regularly upgrade skills to meet dynamic job conditions.

Linux KVM over IP Server build & rebuild ( Deploying the New VM from the Template and Cloning an Existing VM) as per theclient request through change management process.
Installing Linux and configuring ESX servers, Creating duplicate VMs using cloning technology. Administrated DHCP, DNS, NFS,NIS and Samba services in Linux, Database server with web interface php myadmin/Squid/mem cache, CPanel , Working with Vifiles
Linux performance tuning such as patching and building optimized kernel. Creating and managing VMware cluster. Enabling HA andDRS features in a cluster
Configuring alarms, Manage task, events and alarms, Root Cause &System Log Analysis and reporting,
Creating templates from VMs and deploy VMs from templates and allocate resources.
Moving VMs from one LUN to another LUN using Storage VMoti
Adding a New Virtual .Disk and Extending existing Virtual Disk, Hardware Monitoring.
Design and implementation of the virtual environment with 4VMware ESX 3.5 servers on IBM servers with local SCSI and centralized Fiber Channel storage .
Installing, configuring and managing virtual infrastructure and virtual center
Installation OS and configuration of virtual machines in an Enterprise SAN environment
Moving physical machine to virtual machine using p2v converter.
Troubleshooting problems with the help of Event Logs, Troubleshooting virtual machine issues
Managing VMs through web access, Configurations of Virtual switches and network connections.
Networking Monitoring Systems : MRTG / Cacti / Nagios.
Installing client and servers, software for upgrading and maintaining network and Security, system Integration open source software under Linux. Applied patches on all Linux Boxes from common repository using RPM & Source code
Supervising the administration of Linux systems and servers related Apache, Fastcgi ,MemCache PHP, PHPmyadmin, Mysql,JBoss to ensure availability of services to authorized users. Adding and deleting user. Kernel compiling .
Creating and managing resource pools and adding the VMsinto resource pools, LAMP(Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) setup,configuration & maintenance. FTP, SSH, SCP Protocols, Software &patch addition, modification & removal
Monitor, deploy & configure Linux on IBM, and HPservers ,Creating and managing virtual machines and installing VM Tools into VMs. Managed Disks and File systems using LVM on Linux and Configuration Web Control Panel .
Planning and Implementation of SAN storage solution Allocation of storage to blade servers (Creation of LUN’s) Mirrors andRAID 0, 1 and 5 levels. Experience with configuring and managing Virtual disks
Planning and Implementation Virtual Desktop Infrastructure . support for configuration of thin Clients to connect local servers. IP tables
