WE NEED OIL AND GAS STAFF RIG COMPANY ;Our client has a new and exciting opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Assurance Engineer to join their team to work on submarine projects in the defence sector. The role itself will include: Providing advice on all aspects of the mechanical and systems elements of submarine products and services. Presenting to internal and external parties to provide the most suitable solution to a specific project. Responsibilities will include: Conducting deign reviews throughout the whole design process. Compiling reports based on inspection and investigation of specific submarine projects Ensuring that projects meet pre-defined standards and complies with relevant policies and procedures and legal standards. Reviewing and auditing plans for all mechanical activities and systems on submarine craft.. Candidates will have: Experience working on submarines In possession of a category A or Category B NWSC Experience working in a design environment Awareness of industry and design standards (e.g. classification) Use of relevant design based programmes This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialised team which is looking to increase its presence within the defence sector.
