Recipe for Shahi Stuffed Mussalm
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 kg whole
- Brown onion grinded 4 tbsp
- Mince meat 125 gm
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Tomatoes 2
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Green chili grinded 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves gridned 2 tbsp
- Chili powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Potatoes 4 large cut into big cubes and friued
- Boil eggs2
- Allspice 1 tbsp
- Salt 1 ½ tsp
- Oil ¼ cup
Cooking Directions
First boil the mince in half cup water with half tsp ginger garlic paste, salt ½ tsp, chili powder ½ tsp, pinch of turmeric till mince tender and water dries, remove and keep aside, deep fry potatoes.
Stuff chicken with cooked mince, close the openings with a big fried potato, bring together the legs of the chicken and tie it together so stuffing can not come out.
Marinate chicken with grinded green chili, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, chili powder, ginger garlic paste, heat oil in a pan, place marinated chicken, fry on low flame for 10 minutes.
Now add brown onion with yogurt, allspice and cook on low flame till chicken nearly tender.
Add blended tomatoes and cook till oil comes on top, lastly add saffron.
Decorate with boiled eggs, coriander leaves.
Serve hot with nan.
