Recipe for Lauki Bahar
Ingredients
- Lauki ½ kg (peeled & cubed)
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Onion 1 cup (chopped)
- Tomatoes 2 cup (chopped)
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Green chilies 2 (chopped)
- Chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves hand full
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil as required
Cooking Directions
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions and green chillies, fry till onions are light golden.
Add ginger garlic paste with chopped tomatoes, salt and chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder.
Add lauki cook for 2 minutes than cover and cook on dam until soft.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve.
