Recipe for Butter Paper Seekh Kabab

Ingredients

  • Chicken (Mince) ½ kg
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilies (Ground) 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Seekh Kabab Masala 2 tbsp
  • Cheese (Grated) 4 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
  • Eggs (Beaten) 2
  • Red Chilies (Crushed) 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves (Chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Butter paper as required
  • Oil for deep fry

Cooking Directions

Marinate chicken mince with ginger garlic paste, green chillies, coriander powder, cumin powder and seekh kabab masala for 1 hour.

Mix cheese and mayonnaise in a bowl.

Spread chicken mixture on palm and put 1 tbsp cheese and mayonnaise mixture and give it shape of seekh kabab.

Place kabab on square piece of butter paper and roll it.

Seal the edges with eggs mixture, so the butter paper does not open while frying.

Heat oil and deep fry for 4 minutes from each side.

Cut kabab in half and serve with chutney.

Remove butter paper before eating.
