Recipe for Qeema Macaroni
Ingredients
- Mutton mince 1/2 kg
- Boiled macaroni 2 cups
- Onions (sliced) 2
- Tomatoes (pureed) 3
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chili powder 2-1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander-cumin powder 1 tsp
- Sambhar masala (optional) 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
Heat oil, add cumin seeds and allow to splutter.
Add the sliced onions and fry to golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and saute well.
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder, sambhar masala, garam masala powder, salt and saute for a minute.
Add the pureed tomatoes and cook.
Add the mince and saute for 5 minutes. Let it cook till done.
Fold in the boiled macaroni.
Stir in the coriander leaves.
