• 3 tart apples, peeled, cored and cut into long thin strips
• 2/3 cup chopped onion
• 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup white vinegar

Place sugar and vinegar in a small bowl.

Mix well until sugar is dissolved.

Place apples, onion and pickle in a large bowl.

Pour vinegar mixture over the salad.

Toss well.

Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until chill.
