Recipe for Spring Chicken
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 1/2 kg (make 12 pieces)
- Corn flour 2 tbsp
- White flour 2 tbsp
- Eggs 3
- Black pepper (ground) 1/2 tsp
- Ajinomoto 1/2 tsp
- Garlic 1/2 tsp crushed
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Dalda oil 2 1/2 cups
Cooking Directions
Marinate the chicken pieces for half an hour with garlic, salt and vinegar.
Mix white flour, eggs, corn flour and Soya sauce in a bowl.
Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and dip in the white flour mixture so that the chicken is well covered with the batter.
Pour oil in a wok (karhai), heat it and then fry the chicken pieces on low heat until golden brown.
Take out and drain on absorbent paper.
Serve hot.
