Recipe for Chicken Kiev Balls
Ingredients
- Chicken mince- 120 gms
- Garlic chopped- 3-4 cloves
- Green chilli chopped- 1
- Salt to taste
- Cornflour- 1/2 tablespoon
- Chopped coriander leaves- 1/2 teaspoon
- Mozarella cheese- 10 cubes of 1/2? size
- Beaten Egg- 1 (You can use a mixture of flour and water)
- Breadcrumbs- 1/4 cup
- Oil for frying
Cooking Directions
Grind the garlic and chilli to a fine paste. Mix this with the mince along with salt, chopped coriander leaves and cornflour. Keep a bowl of water by your side.
Wet your palms and fingertips with water. Take a small ball of the meat mixture and flatten on your palm.
Place a cheese cube and cover with the meat mixture. Roll into a ball. Dip the ball in the beaten egg and roll on the breadcrumbs till well coated.
Heat oil in a pan on medium-low flame. When hot, drop the balls, one at a time and fry till they turn golden brown on all sides. Drain onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot with any dip of your choice.
