Recipe for Aloo Bhaji
Ingredients
- 2 Boiled potatoes
- Oil- 2 tbsp.
- Turmeric powder-3/4th tbsp.
- Sesame seeds
- Crushed peanuts- 1 tbsp.(optional)
- 2 Curry leaves
- 2 chopped green chills
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Lemon to taste
- Coriander- for garnishing
- Mustard seeds- ½ tbsp.
- Cumin seeds- ½ tbsp.
Cooking Directions
Peel the boiled potatoes and cut even in cubicle sizes
On other side, take oil in a pan and lit the stove.
Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and sesame seeds and crushed peanuts (optional).Once they start popping, add turmeric and curry leaves
On other hand take boiled potatoes and green chilies together and then add it to that oil mixture such a way that green chills touch the oil first and potatoes above it.
Mix the content well such that potatoes don’t break
Then add salt, sugar and lemon from topLet it simmer for some more time.
Then garnish with cilantro/coriander and serve hot with masala chai and Locha pooris!
