Recipe for Capsicums with Potatoes Shimla Mirch
Ingredients
- Capsicums (finely cut) 4/ shimla mirchain (umdagi sy kati huwi) 4
- Potatoes (finely cut) 4/ aalu (umdagi sy kkate huwe)
- Tomato (finely cut) 1/ tamatar(bareek kata huwa)
- Garlic paste 1 tsp/ lehsan ka paste
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp/ haldi powder
- Cumin seeds (roasted and ground) 1 tsp/sufaid zeera (bhuna aur kuta huwa)
- Red chilli powder 2 tsp/ surkh mirch powder
- Fresh coriander (chopped) 3 tbsp/ hara dhaniya (chop kia huwa)
- Salt 1 tsp/ namak
- Oil ¼ cup/ tail
Cooking Directions
Heat oil. Fry inions till golden,Add garlic, tomatoes, salt, red chilies and turmeric and fry.
Add ¼ cup water and cook for a while Add potatoes and little more water and cook for 10 minutes until it half done.
Add capsicums and cook on low flame cook another 10 minutes. Garnish with cumin and coriander, and serve.
