Recipe for CHICKEN ROAST
Ingredients
- Chicken 1 whole (around 1 kg)
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Garam masala ¾ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 ¼ tsp
- Curry powder 2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper girnded 1 ½ tsp
- White cumin powder 1 tsp
- Black pepper girnded 1 ½ tsp
- White cumin powder 1 tsp
- FOR CHUTNEY
- Yogurt 1/2 kg
- Oil one tbsp
- Lemon juice Squeeze one lemon
- Garlic cloves two
- Black Pepper a pinch
Cooking Directions
Take two tbsp oil in a dish and mix all ingredients except for chicken.
Make cuts on the chicken and marinate it with this mixture. Leave it for 3 hours and fry afterwards.
Next take an Indian bay-leaf or Cinnamomum Tamala (tez paat in urdu), whole red chili, black pepper, cinnamon, 2 cloves and fry them all.
Take the left over marinating mixture and add to these spices to make a sauce.
Enjoy a delicious meal of Chicken Roast.
FOR CHUTNEY Take one tbsp oil , one lemon’s juice, black pepper and mix with ½ kg yogurt.
Chop two garlic pieces finely and fry them in some oil. Pour it on top of the yogurt.
