• Macaroni 100 gm
• Water 4 cups
• Breadcrumbs and butter 1 tbsp each
• Cheese sauce 1/2 cup
• Cheese, grated 2 tbsp
• Salt and pepper to taste

Boil the macaroni in the water. Add 1 teaspoon salt to it. Cook till the macaroni is tender. Do not overcook.

Drain in a colander, arrange on a hot dish and pour the cheese sauce over it.

Sprinkle the cheese, grated pepper and breadcrumbs on the top and dot with the butter.

Bake for 25 minutes in a moderately hot oven until it turns crisp and brown in colour.
