Recipe for Tarkewali Dal
Ingredients
- 1 cup red splitted gram
- 2 Onion (chopped)
- 6 Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger chopped
- 6 Green chili (chopped)
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- to taste salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 Curry leave (Kurhi patta)
- 2 tbsps Coriander leaves chopped
- 5 tbsps oil
- Water
Cooking Directions
Clean and wash dal, add water, half the onions with sugar and salt and cook over slow fire until soft. Mash and mix
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chili powder, curry leaves, onion, ginger, garlic. Fry until brown
Now pour the mixture over the dal Mix it and serve hot
