Recipe for SARSON KA CHICKEN
Ingredients
- 1 kilo Chicken pieces
- 5 tbsps Ginger Garlic Paste
- 4 tbsps Mustard Oil
- 1 tsp mustard seed
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp Mustard powder
- 3 tbsps mint leaves
- 1/2 cup Green coriander chopped
Cooking Directions
Apply the chicken pieces with half the ginger garlic paste and salt and keep aside
Heat mustard oil in a pan, add the mustard and fenugreek seeds and saute’ till they crackle.
Add red chili powder, the remaining ginger garlic paste,salt, cumin, coriander, mustard and garam masala
Prepare a paste by blending together mint, coriander and green chilies and add to the pan
Add chicken pieces to the gravy and cook till the oil separates. Add a little water; cook an low heat for 15mins
Remove from heat and garnish with ginger
