Recipe for GULAB JAMUN
Ingredients
- 175 grams Milk powder
- 3 tbsps Refined flour
- 1 tbsp Semolina
- 150 grams Cream
- 1/8 tsp Backing Soda
- 2 cups Oil
- for garnishing Silver leaf
- For Syrup
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 5pieces Green cardamoms
Cooking Directions
Prepare a mixture of milk powder, refined flour, semolina, cream and backing soda. Make small balls from this mixture.
Take water in a pan and add sugar and green cardamoms in it. Cook until a thick syrup is formed.
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the balls to a golden color.
Add golden balls in the thick syrup. Cook for 5-6 mins by covering the pot.
Serve after garnishing with silver leaf.
