Recipe for ALMOND SHAHI TUKREY
Ingredients
- 12 Bread slices
- 1 cup Cream
- 1/2 cup khoya
- 160 grams Sugar
- 2 tbsps Almond, sliced
- 1.5 cups Milk
- 1 tbsp Hot milk
- 2 tsps Kewra water
- 2 tbsps Pistachios, sliced
- pinch Saffron
- for frying Clarified Butter
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degree C.
Cut bread slices into four pieces. Heat clarified butter in pan.
Fry bread slices until golden. Remove and arrange in a tray.
Dissolve sugar and saffron in a cup of milk. Pour this mixture over fried bread.
In a bowl, add remaining cup milk with cream and khoya. Mix well.
Pour over soaked bread and leave it for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle sliced almonds, pistachios and kewra water
Bake until well done.
