Recipe for Iced Tea With Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 tsp tea leaves or 4 tea bags
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- sugar
- 1½ cup water
- ice cubes
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Cooking Directions
Boil water in a pan. Add tea leaves, sugar and lemon juice to the boiling water.
Wait till the colour of tea leaves (dark brown) is visible. If you are using tea bags, pour boiled water and sugar mix in a cup. Soak the tea bags till the water turns brown.
Leave for 3-4 minutes. After the colour of water changes to brown, take out the tea bags or strain the tea liqour in a bowl. Let it cool.
Now refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Pour it in a glass. Add crushed ice cubes to give it some texture.
From the top, add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Serve it chilled!
