Recipe for Boiled Chickpeas Curry
Ingredients
- Bengal gram/chickpeas 1 cup
- Ginger 1 tsp (shredded)
- Garlic cloves 2 (crushed)
- Sugar 1/2 tbsp
- Onion 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Cooking oil 2 tbsp
- Green chilies 2
Cooking Directions
Rinse the chickpeas.
Add 3-4 cups of water.
Bring to boil, add salt, ginger and garlic.
Boil until chickpeas are soft and broken.
Add the sugar and green chilies.
In a saucepan heat the oil and fry the onion brown.
Pour in the chickpeas and remove from heat.
Serve hot with luchi or boiled rice.
