Recipe for Black Forest Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • For Biscuit Base:
  • Chocolate biscuit (Crushed) 250 gm
  • Butter 100 gm
  • Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  • For Filling:
  • Gelatin powder 2 tbsp
  • Cream cheese 1 Bottle
  • Fresh cream 250 gm
  • Lemon rind 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Cherry 1 cup
  • Fresh dairy cream 250 gm
  • Egg white 1
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • For Sauce:
  • Cherry juice 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Gelatin powder 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

For Base: Melt butter; add cinnamon powder and crushed chocolate biscuits.

Mix well using your hand.

Make a layer of this mixture in mold.

Freeze till firm.

For Filling: Dissolve gelatin powder in a little water.

Heat the gelatin mixture until it starts to boil, take it off the heat.

Put some ice in a bowl, put another bowl on top of ice, in this bowl, put bottle cheese cream, fresh cream, gelatin mixture and beat well using a beater.

Add in chopped cherries, lemon rind and lemon juice.

Beat egg white separately and fold into the cream mixture.

Pour this mixture on the biscuit base and freeze for another hour.

For sauce: In a pan pour cheery juice, lemon juice, gelatin powder and sugar.

Cook for 1 minute and then leave it to cool.

Pour the sauce on cake and freeze till firm.

Serve chilled.
