Recipe for Tamatar Ghost
Ingredients
- ½ kg mutton cubes
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1-inch ginger root
- 5-garlic cloves
- 1/2-teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1-teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 chopped green chilies
- ½ kg tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions
Heat oils in a deep-bottomed pan and fries the onions till golden brown.
Add ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chopped meat and salt.
Cover and cook on a medium flame for about 10-12 minutes.
Add the chopped chilies, tomatoes and coriander leaves, mix well.
Cover and cook on a medium flame for about 50 minutes or until the meat is tender
