Recipe for Chicken Nihari
Ingredients
- Chicken-1, weight 2kg
- Onion-1
- Yogurt-3tbsp
- National Nihari Masala-1pck
- Ginger-1, cut in thin strips
- Green Chili-3
- Simple Flour-4tbsp
- Oil-1cup
- For the Yakhni:
- Chicken bones-
- Water-4glass
- salt-as required
- Dried ginger (ground)-5tbsp
- Black Cardamom-4
- Garlic with skin-1
- Fennel seeds-1/2tsp
Cooking Directions
First of all take chicken bones, water, dried ginger, black cardamom, salt n cook it over slow flame.
When yakhni is ready then filter it out.
After that take a bowl put oil with onion and fry it until it got golden brown over high flame.
Now add chicken n cook it for a while, evaporate chicken water over high flame, put Nihari Masala, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, and cook it for 5 to 10 minutes.
Now Dissolve Flour in a little amount of water and slowly add in curry, stir spoon continuously
After that put ginger strips, green chili n cook it for 10 to 15 minutes over low flame
