Afshan Qureshi, Actresses (TV) is famous for Acting, Pakistani celebrity.
One of the oldest stars in the media industry, Afshan Qureshi began her journey in the media over three decades ago. Afshan started working in Sindhi films and drama serials in the starting of her career, before she was recognized and cast in to Lollywood films. Afshan Qureshi is the mother of famous Pakistani star, Faisal Qureshi. She started with smaller characters, but gained fame with her role in Sachchai in the 1970s. Her role in the drama serial Andhera Ujala was also very popular. Her Sindhi serials include Lurkan Bhari Moorat and Preen Ja Musafir.
Her first Urdu film came in 1972, titled Janwar. Superhit films such as Muhabbat Aur Dosti, Ab Ghar Jaaney Do, Awaz and Anmol Muhabbat were tremendous hits. She also worked in the famous Punjabi film, Larki Punjaban. Afshan is presently working in several drama serials, such as Man O Salwa and Qurbani Ke Bakre.
