Sarhadi was born to a Muslim family on June 11, 1981 in Karachi. She did graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Karachi. Sarhadi is married with Amir Anees and has a daughter Anaya. She is the niece of a famous television actor late Khayyam Sarhadi and a grand daughter of Zia Sarhadi
