Pari Hashmi, a 16 year old girl who is extremely talented and gifted. She has been at the center stage of performance since her early schooling years. Her first public appearance was singing the national anthem solo on independence day in Kinder Garden – she had earlier been neglected in the overall team that performed on the same day. Confidence building has been a major learning as she mentions an embarrassing moment performing of a TV channel where matters did not go according to plan and she burst out crying on set – having overcome that she has matured and feels confident facing the audience and camera. Her first major break came when she was offered a children’s show followed by a major project for the month of Ramadan in 2007. She has since taken guidance from seniors and technical staff in improving and performing to standards.

Pari has been actively involved in television media since the past four years primarily as a host. She started with Roza Khusai on Geo TV in 2007 followed by a series of programs namely Kids News, Bachy Bohat Achay, Hamara School and Magic Show on Dhoom TV. She then went on to do a year long stint with Wikkid Plus mainly to host a program titled Street Smart Show. In Ramadan of 2009 she co-hosted a daily cooking program Just for Kids on Masala TV. Pari also appeared in a video I Express broadcast on Express News. She is an avid fan of news anchors and would like to pursue a future career in that direction if given the opportunity.

Recently she made her debut as an actress in drama production Daam produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. Pari was extremely fortunate to be under the guiding wing of Ms. Mehreen Jabbar (Director) who has a number of top selling dramas to her credit. She mentions her experience and states that she committed a major blunder on her first take – but was amply supported by the production team especially the director who was extremely generous and kind. Acting aside Pari has an added interest in vocal performance and she has sung Naats and also other religious songs for various occasions.

Personal Life
Pari’s father is an architect and her mother is a doctor. She has a sister. She claims that both her parents are extremely supportive throughout. In school Pari has been awarded full attendance award – she had managed to attend all sessions despite her schedule off-school. She claims the school management has been extremely supportive and cooperative with her performing career.

Pari has recently started writing a script for a Teleflim in which she narrates a story about the various problems faced by students at the time of education process and plans to promote it through private productions.
