The titan of Pakistani media and the country-shaker Mir Shakeelur Rehman’s Jang and GEO group are the leading media tycoons. Their wealth knows no bounds. Their powers in every sector wields enormous clout. Make no mistake about them going down quietly by the hands of almighty ISI. GEO knows too much dirt about the generals and others and if they are pushed to the wall, they will let it go.
The other wrestler in the ring, against the GEO, is hulk of Pakistan - The almighty ISI, which is basically the political wing of Pakistani military. And boy atta political wing it is. They have made and broken the governments. They have created and destroyed countless political careers and politicians. They control literally everything in Pakistan from foreign policy to defense, from businesses to the provincial matters, and everything else. For some time, due to the newly found wealth and power, especially after restoration of Iftikhar Chaudhry and his support, GEO entered into a power-bubble. Their clash with the other king was inevitable, and they have licked the ground, and now trying to appease the sole king in Aabpara. Aabpara is now going out of bounds and trying to quash GEO.
Again GEO knows too much and they would create an unprecedented storm of dirt and smear if pushed too hard. Pakistanis can’t imagine what GEO is holding in their secret archives. Wikileaks are child’s play in front of GEO-leaks. Anyway, the common Pakistanis who are mere spectators hold no sympathy for any of the player in this game. They know that they are pariahs. They can’t enter the cantts, and they can’t really have any say in what GEO does or say. Media tycoons and intelligence moguls consider these bl**dy civilians no more important than ants. For shooder civilians this fight is between DHA and Camera. For them its ugly money versus ugly power. These shooders will rise one day, and then brahmins would find no place to hide their power or wealth or themselves.
