Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, Farooq Aiwan said on Wednesday that a decision to reopen YouTube has not yet been made.
Speaking to media at the Parliament, he said they have intimated with the administration of the website to review their policy, but a reply has not been received yet. He made it clear that the website cannot be reopened until a response to the said letter.
It is pertinent to mention here that the federal minister had hinted to lift the ban about a month ago, but had said it would depend upon removal of controversial content from it.
