About 23 percent Pakistanis are unaware about the death of Mehdi Hassan, legendary singer and king of Gazal, a recent survey has revealed.
According to a survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 77 percent Pakistanis claim to know about recent death of legendary singer. Among them 70 percent said they felt sad or very sad.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Recently, famous Pakistani singer Mehdi Hassan passed away. Have you heard or read anything about his death?” Responding to this, 77 percent claim that they have heard or read about Mehdi Hassan’s death whereas 23 percent claim to have no information about it.
