A 14-year female student of Pakistan will be honored to become a torch bearer at London Olympics 2012.
Zainab Imran will be representing Pakistan at Torch Rally that would be beginning from May 19 in United Kingdom.
Zainab will be a part of a 7,300 team, selected from across the globe, who will run with Olympic torch across cities and villages of UK.
The oldest torch bearer, Deena Gold, is about 100-year old while the youngest one, Dominick Mak Gown, is 12 years old.
Though traditionally Olympic torch reached the destination after drifting through all states participating in the premier sports event, but protest against torch rally for Beijing Olympic 2008 ceased this golden tradition.
After such protests, International Olympic Committee decided that from afterwards torch rally will be held only at the host country.
The rally would start from May 19 and would reach London after covering various parts of UK on July 27.
On average about 115 torch bearers will hold the Olympic torch and every person will cover a distance of 300 meters.
