Karachi: A new pattern has been formulated for the metric and intermediate examinations across Sindh, sources said on Tuesday.
They said that the decision was finalised in the meeting, chaired by Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Chairman Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai, of heads of all intermediate and metric boards across the province.
According to the decision, the papers will be based on 85 percent theory and 15 percent practical skills.
The theory papers will further be divided into three segments each comprises 20 percent objectives, 50 percent brief questions and 30 percent descriptive questions.
Twenty minutes will be given to solve the objective paper and several versions of the paper would be published.
The result of objective paper would be announced on Internet within the 30 minutes once the paper is finished.
