Ex-wife of cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan has categorically revealed that she wasn’t smitten by the Imran Khan’s charisma, fame, popularity, looks, wealth, stature, or anything else. What impressed her was his slogan of change. She maintained that after living with the Khan for some months she realized that all those slogans, claims, talk and speeches about change were hollow and didn’t mean a thing to her former husband. Her husband was just yet another politician who was desperate, greedy and ambitious to become the Prime Minister and that was about it.
Reham Khan was talking to Saleem Safi, the anchor of GEO news program Jirga. Her friendship with Safi was also disapproved and disliked by Imran Khan a lot. These days, presumably, Reham Khan is appearing in the programs of handful of those anchors who are detested and abhorred by Imran Khan. Before appearing in Saleem’s program, Reham Khan invited and interviewed Najam Sethi in her program as a guest. That must have irked Imran a lot. Perhaps that’s her way of getting squared with him.
