Dr. Asim’s link to Ziauddin hospital at one side but why rangers are raiding the hospital again and again? It is being said that not only Dr. Asim Hussain was involved in terror financing but also providing treatment to the target killers of MQM and other banned outfits. Dr Yousuf Sattar is the deputy medical superintendent of the Ziauddin Hospital and a key person working for Dr. Asim and was responsible for all such shady happenings. This hospital was in the eye of agencies for sometime but due to the Dr. Asim’s position and patronage of Asif Ali Zardari, they were tied up.
But now as Karachi operations rages on without any impact from the provincial government with full approval of federal government and the military establishment, things are coming out. There are many shocks still remain to be felt from Karachi as its just the beginning. Rangers raided Ziauddin hospital on 29th of August and they have done it again yesterday. They have sealed the records and have taken away many digital information. Accounts are being checked too. The hospital was a front for many criminal activities. Dr. Asim is the the chairman of the Dr Ziauddin Group of Hospitals and a former petroleum adviser to the prime minister Yousaf Gilani but he worked only for Zardari. He was the main link between MQM and Zardari and even Rehman Malik, the then interior minister was working under him. That is why Zardari is so perturbed and disturbed and that is why MQM is also baffled.
