The ‘League’ word in PSL has nothing to do with the ruling Muslim League so PTI need not to worry about it. I am relieved that they haven’t demanded it to be named PST or Pakistan Super Tehrik. Another interesting suggestion which we got through email at TPS was about name change of PSL from a reader. Mubasher Mehmood wrote that: It is good to hear that Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held next year in Doha, Qatar. It would have been great if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would have name PSL as Pakistan Shaheen League (PSL) instead of Pakistan Super League (PSL). As “Shaheen” would have given Pakistani touch in the name and different to other cricket leagues. Now that is an interesting suggestion and sounds pretty neat, different and unique. Pakistan Cricket Board should pay heed to this suggestion. It is also good of PCB to appoint Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram as ambassadors of PSL. Both have international standings. PCB should also engage showbiz people like Mahira Khan in PSL to fill in more color perhaps.
