These girls are not only beautiful, they also have got a brain. These girls are no ordinary girls but scions of a political legacy; though among them Reham has adopted a shortcut, while Maryam and Asifa Zardari have been lucky enough to born in the right house at right time. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the daughter of current Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and the leader of largest political party in country PML-N is politically active though her role is still dormant. Sharif tried to launch her in arena by making her chairperson of a billion rupee social security program, but had to back off after public criticism of nepotism.
- Maryam Nawaz now manages the social media campaign of PML-N and is doing a fine job, though still she has a long way to go to match the social media machinery of PTI led by Imran Khan. Imran Khan’s PTI is the second largest party in country and Reham Khan has just become wife of Imran after a year long friendship.
- Reham Khan is new to politics though she has been active in British and Pakistani media for sometime. She is politically ambitious and has already started appearing in KPK province functions where her husband’s party is ruling. She is also seen accompanying her husband in public gatherings.
- Asifa Zardari seems like just a kid though quite recently she is emerging rapidly as her brother Bilawal Zardari has fallen out of grace of their father Asif Zardari. Bilawal is still chairman, but as rift between father and son is widening, the chances of Asifa Zardari leading PPP, which is third largest party, are very bright.
All three of these ladies are ambitious and admire the late Benazir Bhutto, Asifa Zardari’s mother, who was the first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan. But they don’t enjoy the charisma and conditions bestowed upon Benazir. Before Maryam, there are many relatives and leaders to take place of Nawaz Sharif. Before Asifa Zardari, there is Bilawal and her elder sister Bakhtawar to replace Zardari. Before Reham, there is an army of PTI leaders who would do anything to replace Imran Khan. And all three party heads have no plans or chances to say goodbye to their parties.
