Why I am Ignoring India Pakistan Match

The reason why I am ignoring the India Pakistan match today in the wake of Cricket World Cup 2015 in Melbourne is because I don’t see any point and this Pakistani team doesn’t inspire me. Even the Indian team doesn’t have any star to look forward to, and besides I abhor all the frenzy media is creating. I mean just for their ratings, the media is sensationalizing the match like there will be no tomorrow and if life and death depends upon it. Pakistani media is piping the emotions high and blowing it out of proportions. Programs upon programs are being held in which Aristotle anchors are winning match during the talk shows.

Why I am Ignoring India Pakistan Match

Just look at the Pakistani team and shame these anchors. The aged Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan are good for nothing. Afridi is only talk and show and nothing else. He never was. There are no fast or spin bowlers to write home about. Batting is as unreliable and weak as it could be. Fielding and wicket keeping are a laughing stock. Indian team is much stronger than Pakistani team as far as batting is concerned, though their bowling and fielding is equal to Pakistan when it comes to low quality. I think that India will out-bat Pakistan easily in this match and then this media will simply stop the nonsense to move on to the next nonsense. But the aftermath won’t be good for the people of Pakistan. They will be depressed and frustrated after so much hype. There is no check on this media and no accountability. PEMRA code of conduct is like garbage as no media channel cares about it. That is why the viewers should stop being viewers and get a life and go out and enjoy the life.
